Oswego, N.Y. – A new barbershop has opened up in SUNY Oswego campus center. Campus Cuts has opened up this spring semester and owner John Franko is excited about the future. Campus Cuts will be open on Wednesdays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
A new student-led program at SUNY Oswego is aiming to reduce food waste and start composting for a better Oswego. This compost is then available for Oswego County residents to use free of charge, where they can take as much as they would like for personal use.
The athletic staff at SUNY Oswego has lifted the fee for students at campus fitness centers for the spring semester. The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) Mental Health and Wellness committee provided the grant to make this initiative possible. This committee is also working on additional initiatives that would enhance indoor and outdoor spaces for students.
