First annual New York State Winter Fair comes to Syracuse
SYRACUSE NY- It’s all of the fun of the fair indoors this year at the first New York State winter fair.
The newly constructed Syracuse exposition center is hosting the winter addition of the ever so popular annual state fair. With over 100 vendors, selling everything from food, to clothing, and even hot tubs, Central New York family’s can get a taste of what’s to come this summer.
Fair organizers say there is something for everyone; with live music, amusement rides and carnival food. Event Promoter Allen LaVenturd says “the fair is a good opportunity for families to get out of the cold and enjoy what the fair has to offer”.
The fair opened Friday at 3pm and will close at 11pm, before reopening on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets can ordered online at http://www.nyswinterfair.com/ or purchased at the door.
Kids under 12 years old get in free and there is also free parking at the gate 6 entrance of the state fairgrounds.
