OSWEGO, N.Y.— A water main break was discovered earlier this morning behind Funnelle Hall. A crew was on site working to repair the water line and restore operations fully.
Cooper Dining Hall remained in service, but some food options were subject to change and beverage choices were limited. Students said that sinks and showers were not working.
In an email announcement to the campus, students were told “if you need to use a restroom or get water for any reason, you will need to go to another building.” This email was sent by Patrick Woodward, the associate director of Residence Life and Housing at SUNY Oswego.
The email further recommended that students effected by the outages go to Marano Campus Center.
At 2:56 p.m., another announcement was sent confirming the end of the outage.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while the work was being completed,” said Woodward.
