SUNY Oswego holds second late night study break

OSWEGO, N.Y. — SUNY Oswego’s Campus Recreation will host its second Late Night study break this Friday night as a way for students to relax prior to midterms.

Carey Barnette, Oswego’s assistant director for fitness and well being, said that planning for the event started last semester and they have added new activities for this year’s event.

“We had a really good turn out last year,” Barnette said. “Over 1,500 people came to the event, so we are looking forward to that again this year and giving people a break from stressing about midterms coming up.”

This year, they have added glow in the dark ax throwing, Barnette said. Other events include glow in the dark ice skating, arts and crafts, a photo booth, food and much more.

The event will be held in the Marano Campus Center from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday night. The first 400 people to arrive will receive a free t-shirt.
