Wall Street Market to reopen as ‘The Lounge’

OSWEGO, N.Y.— The Wall Street Market will soon be reopening as “The Lounge” and will now be student run.
The café was shut down at the end of the spring 2022 semester due to financial issues brought on by COVID-19. Since its closing, many have asked for its return. Their voices led the school and a team of marketing students to see if reopening was a possibility.
“We are hoping [to reopen] sometime after spring break, like the week after spring break,” said Tammy Chen, a SUNY Oswego student and marketer for The Lounge.
The Lounge will be located in the same spot as the original café in Rich Hall.
